When to use

Configure notification channels before enabling combat alert rules so that incidents are not lost.

Supported channels

• Email channel with OTP verification.
• Telegram channel through a one-time link token.

Steps for Email

1. Create a channel of type Email.
2. Submit the verification code.
3. Confirm the OTP to transfer the channel to verified status.
4. If necessary, set the display alias.

Steps for Telegram

1. Generate a link token in the UI.
2. Connect via the Telegram bot.
3. Check that the channel has become verified.

What to check

• The channel has a status verified.
• The channel is displayed in the selection when creating alert rules.
• The test alert reaches the expected channel.
