License block: Vezha features
What it shows
CPU per core IOWAIT in Vezha is displayed as cpu.core_iowait_pct with label core. This is a detailed picture where exactly the processor profile shows disk expectations.
Why it matters
When the problem is localized on part of the cores, the average value masks the real cause of the degradation. Viewing by cores allows you to quickly narrow the search to a specific class of tasks or queue.
An example from practice
The degradation appeared in waves at the production node. Kernel analysis showed repeated spikes in iowait when a particular job was running, after which its execution window was moved to a less busy period.
