What it shows
Process disk write, kbps in Vezha is available as proc.write_kib_s. The indicator is used in the process slice and helps to estimate who is generating the main write stream.
Why it matters
When the drive enters a busy mode, it is important to immediately know the source of the recording. This reduces diagnostic time and allows you to quickly separate critical services from background tasks.
An example from practice
DB delays have increased on the node due to parallel background export. After detecting the write source, the task was postponed, and the service returned normal latency.
