Series: “Vezha story week by week” • Issue dated 04/27/2026
In #100, we closed a real gap in web monitoring: some containers do not write access.log to host storage, so classic file tailing cannot see the full picture. To solve this, Vezha now includes Stream Web — a live mode for stdout-only web stacks.
What changed
- A dedicated Stream Web view with live per-IP aggregation.
- Parsing support for CLF and Traefik JSON container logs.
- Rolling window and top offenders for fast triage.
- Coverage for Docker/Compose/Swarm without duplication against file-based Web Stats.
Operational impact
Ops teams can see suspicious IP behavior and error bursts immediately in the UI, even when logs exist only in container stdout. This cuts first-response time and reduces blind spots in incident analysis.
Who benefits most
Stream Web is especially useful for teams running minimal container images and avoiding host bind-mounts for access logs.
In upcoming issues, we will continue improving fast operational analysis on top of the same telemetry flow.
