Server management in the card (name, pause, delete)

When to use

The page describes daily administrative actions on the server within the cluster.

What is available in the server card

  • View technical attributes: hostname, OS, IP, architecture, agent version.
  • Change alias for clear operational names.
  • Pause/resume metrics ingestion.
  • Generate Reconnect OTP to reinstall the agent.
  • Removing the server from the cluster.

Steps

  1. Open the server in the cluster list.
  2. If necessary, update the alias and save the changes.
  3. Use pause when maintenance is required without noise in operations.
  4. To reinstall the agent, generate a reconnect OTP.
  5. Remove the server only after decommissioning the node.

What to check

  • The new alias is displayed in lists and incidents.
  • The pause status corresponds to the scheduled mode.
  • After reconnect, the server comes back online without duplicating records.
