Vezha Diary #101: Directory Integrity and Snapshot now for fast change verification

In #101, we focused on file-system integrity control. Vezha now includes Directory Integrity (AIDE-style) with managed snapshots and a fast manual check trigger.

What we added

  • Scheduled directory snapshots in the Total scope.
  • State comparison: added / changed / deleted.
  • A Snapshot now button for immediate execution.
  • Race protection between manual and scheduled cycles.

Why it matters

When you suspect unauthorized file changes or post-deploy side effects, the team gets a controlled and repeatable way to capture state quickly and isolate differences.

Typical workflow

After an incident or release, run Snapshot now, wait for completion, and immediately review what appeared, changed, or disappeared. This cuts manual verification time and improves evidence quality for post-incident analysis.

Next, we plan to extend this flow with stronger alerting integration.
